Welcome to Tinkerama! We are excited to announce these new workshops available from August 2017. Contact me for further details.

Arduino Theremin

Learn how to make a musical instrument called theremin, using an Arduino. The Theremin is a musical instrument that you play without touching it! Here’s the reference to the original Theremin,  invented by Leon Theremin, and patented in 1928.

This project requires no soldering. It does require some programming. This  workshop is a great introduction to electronics and  programming.

Minimum age is 13yrs (8th grade students). The workshop takes about 3-4 hours to complete.

Paper Circuits

Learn basics of electronics by building simple and creative paper circuits. Explore your creative side, by making fun things, and learn about electricity along the way. This workshop can be customized to your needs, and takes about 2-3 hours.

This is a great way to get started with electronics, for little tykes, as young as 10 years old!
